Is your child ready for school? With our special week long summer camp, they will be!

Through fun games, children will be taught practical skills such as opening and zipping up coats, closing buttons, opening and closing lunch boxes, water bottles and school bags. More Junior Infants readiness skills will be taught through classroom role play, role play will be also used to teach friendship skills -where kids learn how to make friends and how to get involved in group activities. At the Ready For School Camp mindfulness and preparation for change will be incorporated each day in a very relaxed manner including an open chat where kids can ask questions about starting school. Arts and Crafts will be based around fine motor skills and pre-writing skills to ensure the children are ready for the pencil!

In a relaxed environment and in a school setting, kids will engage in learning experiences that build on school readiness skills. We will provide opportunities for children to learn about what happens in the classrooms they are preparing to enter. 

Ready For School Camp focuses on social and emotional learning skills as well as practical school skills.

All camps are led by Garda Vetted teachers with lots of experience of teaching in a classroom context.
